Tests for pregnancy diagnostics Express Test designed to determine the hormone chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in a woman's urine and can determine the pregnancy as early as 5-6 days after conception. HCG is a hormone that begins to be produced in a woman's body after the implantation of a fertilized egg in the uterine cavity, and its detection in urine indicates that the pregnancy happened.
The Express Test test strip is designed for early diagnosis of pregnancy in an economical package. The test strip contains specific antibodies to the hormone HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin). The presence of this hormone in the urine test sample in a sufficient concentration makes antibodies interact with hCG. In such a way, a reaction occurs on the test strip (in the zone of their localization) and forces the colour indicator to change its colouring, and thus — a coloured line appears.
Express Test test strips have a sensitivity of 10 mIU/ml, which allows to determine the onset of pregnancy after 7-10 days from the moment of conception or the 1st day of delay with the accuracy of the result - 99.5%.
