Rapid Test for Diagnostic Streptococcal Pharyngitis (Strep A) Express Test is a test cassette of rapid chromatographic immunological analysis for the qualitative detection of  Group A Streptococcus antigen in throat swab samples, aiding in the diagnosis of Group A streptococcal infection.

Streptococcal pharyngitis is  bacteria that contain Group A antigens, which can cause serious infections such as pharyngitis, respiratory infections, impetigo, endocarditis, meningitis, sepsis, and arthritis.

During testing, the throat swab sample reacts with antibodies to Group A Streptococcus coated on particles.

The mixture migrates along the membrane to interact with antibodies to Group A Streptococcus and form a colored line in the test zone, providing results within 5 minutes.

Test has a high sensitivity of 94%, enabling the rapid and accurate detection of streptococcal infection with a result accuracy of 97%.
